Save Time & Stress By Labeling Your People!

Have you ever needed to quickly find a picture on your phone of your husband or wife, kids, grandkids, best friend or even your beloved pet?

You probably spent more time than you wanted to scrolling through your photo stream and, chances are, you never found the picture you were looking for! This can be incredibly frustrating and time-consuming when life is already busy and you definitely don't need one more thing to test your patience! 


The good news is there's an easier way! By taking two minutes to label your high flyers, your photo app will be able to sort through thousands of images to find exactly who you're looking for in seconds! 


How to Label Your Favorite People & Pets:

Apple Photos Users 

  1. Open the Apple Photos app from your phone
  2. Click "Albums" at the bottom of your screen
  3. Scroll down until you see the "People & Places" section and click to open
  4. Click on one of your people or pet's photos 
  5. Click "Add Name" at the top of your screen
  6. Add his/her name & click "Next" 
  7. Click "Done" 
  8. Click the blue arrow in the top left corner of your screen to go back to your list of people and pets
  9. Repeat these steps to label the rest of your favorites

 

Google Photos Users 

  1. Open the Google Photos app from your phone
  2. Select "Collections" from the menu at the bottom of your screen
  3. Click on the "People & Pets" section
  4. Click on any person or pet's photo
  5. This will open a new screen with all of his/her pictures
  6. Click "Add a name" at the top of your screen
  7. Type in his/her name and then click "done" in the bottom right corner of your screen
  8. Click the blue arrow in the top left corner of your screen to go back to your list of people 
  9. Repeat these steps until you label all of your favorites!

How to Quickly Find a Photo of Your People & Pets:

Apple Photos Users  

  • Open Apple or Google Photos from your phone
  • Click "Search" from the menu at the bottom of your screen
  • Type in your person/pet's name 
  • Click "Search" in the bottom right corner
  • Click the blue "See all" button
  • All of his/her photos will quickly populate

 

Google Photos Users

  1. Open the Google Photos app from your phone
  2. Click "Search" from the menu at the bottom of your screen
  3. Type in your person/pet's name 
  4. Click "Search" in the bottom right corner
  5. All of his/her photos will quickly populate

Using little shortcuts like this will help you make technology work FOR you instead of feeling like it is always working against you!
