Holiday Tips!

Just when you think life can't get any busier the holiday season arrives and with it a brand new list of to-dos! 

On top of juggling all the normal, everyday things you now have to add shopping, meal planning, decorating, and maybe even hosting or traveling to your plate!

So in an effort to help you make life just a little bit easier, I hope these quick and easy tips will simplify at least a few things for you this holiday season! 

Tip #1 Create a Shared Album for Holiday Pics: 

Create an album so everyone at the party can add and have access to all the holiday pictures that will be taken!


Apple Users

  1. Open Apple Photos from your phone 
  2. Click "ALBUMS" at the bottom of your screen
  3. Click the "+" sign in the top left corner
  4. Select "New Shared Album"
  5. Give your album a title such as "Thanksgiving 2022"
  6. Click "Next"
  7. In the "TO" field type in your friends and family 
  8. Click "Create" 
  9. After the holiday celebration open the album and add all of your pictures/videos


Google Photos Users 

  1. Open Google Photos from your phone 
  2. Click "LIBRARY" at the bottom of your screen
  3. Click the "+" sign in the top left corner to create a new album
  4. Give your album a title such as "Thanksgiving 2022" 
  5. Click "DONE"
  6. Click "SELECT PHOTOS"
  7. Select your photos from the holiday celebration 
  8. Click "ADD" in the top right corner
  9. Once your photos have been added, share the album with your friends and family so they have access and/or can add their own pictures too! Simply, open the album and click "SHARE" under the title. 

 

Tip #2 Holiday Photo Cards: 

First, organize a few of your favorite pictures from the year in an album.


Apple Users

  1. Open Apple Photos from your phone 
  2. Click "ALBUMS" at the bottom of your screen
  3. Click the "+" sign in the top left corner
  4. Select "New Album"
  5. Give your album a title such as "2022 Holiday Card"
  6. Click on a FEW of your favorite photos from 2022 
  7. Click "DONE" in the top right corner

 
Google Photos Users 

  1. Open Google Photos App from your phone 
  2. Click "LIBRARY" at the bottom of your screen
  3. Click the "+" sign in the top left corner to create a new album
  4. Give your album a title such as "2022 Holiday Card" 
  5. Click "SELECT PHOTOS"
  6. Select a FEW of your favorite photos from 2022 
  7. Click "ADD" in the top right corner


Next, personalize and order your cards. You can order holiday cards from Walgreens, Shutterfly, Minted or any one of the other companies that offer this service.

 

Tip #3 Unique Photo Gifts 

Create a unique photo gift such as a calendar, photo book or other personalized photo gift for your loved one that will be treasured for years to come!
