How to Quickly Organize Spring Sports Pictures

If you are revving up for spring sports, chances are you will be taking hundreds of pictures over the next few months! One great way to start organizing all those pictures and videos is to create an album, making your favorite memories easy to find and share! 

Creating an album will also give you order to the chaos if your photo stream has become a cluttered mess! And what better time than now to get organized because chances are you will be taking hundreds, or maybe even thousands, of pictures in the future as your loved ones continue playing their hearts out!

How to Create an Album to Organize Sports Pictures & Videos

iPhone/Apple Users 

1. Open Apple Photos from your phone 
2. Click "ALBUMS" from the menu at the bottom of your screen
3. Click the "+" sign in the top left corner
4. Select "New Album"
5. Give your album a title such as "2024 Track" and click "SAVE" (I would recommend being systematic in naming albums, starting with the year. This will allow you to make similar albums in the future for example, next year's album could be titled "2025 Track")
6. Your photo stream will automatically pull up and you can click on any photos you have so far to add to this album
7. Once you've selected all your pictures, click "Add" in the top right corner

Android/Google Photos Users  

1. Open Google Photos from your phone 
2. Click "LIBRARY" at the bottom of your screen
3. Click the "+" sign in the top left corner to create a new album
4. Give your album a title such as "2024 Track" (I would recommend being systematic in naming albums, starting with the year. This will allow you to make similar albums in the future for example, next year's album could be titled "2025 Track")
5. Click "Select photos"
6. Your photo stream will automatically pull up and you can click on any photos you have so far to add to this album
7. Once you've selected all your pictures, click "Add" in the top right corner

As you continue taking more pictures and videos, simply add them to your album so they are nicely organized in one place!
