Can You Share Pictures Between Apple & Android Devices?

Yes!

And since we are heading into one of the busiest picture seasons of all with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's you will definitely want to share all the great memories you've captured with friends and family, near and far!

If you're already a pro at sharing this article may not be for you! But if you could use a little help or have friends and family with a different device than you, here are the ins and outs of sharing between Apple and Android devices!

How to Share Pictures from Your Phone: 

Apple to Apple 

• Open the Apple Photos App from your phone 
• Click "Library" in the bottom left corner
• Click "Select" in the top right corner 
• Select all of the photos you would like to share
• Click the share icon in the bottom left corner
• Decide who/how you would like to share your pictures (text, email, AirDrop)

Android to Android

• Open the Google Photos app
• Click "Photos" at the bottom of your screen
• Select the pictures you want to share by holding them down until you see a checkmark 
• Click "Share" at the bottom of your screen
• Click "Share to..."
• Decide who/how you would like to share all those photos 

Apple to Android

• Open the Apple Photos App from your phone 
• Click "Library" in the bottom left corner
• Click "Select" in the top right corner 
• Select all of the photos you would like to share
• Click the share icon in the bottom left corner
• Scroll down and select "Copy iCloud Link"
• You will see a notification that the link is being prepared
• As soon as the notification disappears, open your text messages
• Start a new text message and in the text field touch and hold until you see "Paste" 
• The link will appear and you can send the message
• The recipient will receive a link to open and view your photos 

Android to Apple

• Start a new text message
• Click on the paperclip in the top right corner
• Select the photos you want to share
• Click "Send"
