Scan Imp Docs & Send as PDF Right from Your Phone!

Have you ever needed to quickly send an important document to your doctor, lawyer, realtor, employer or child's school? 

In just a few clicks, you can scan a single page, group of pages, insurance card, driver's license or any other important document, which will then be converted to a PDF you can text or email right from your phone! 

iPhone/Apple Users:

1. Open the Notes App from your phone (it looks like a yellow notepad)
2. Click the icon in the bottom right corner of your screen to create a new note
3. Click the Camera button
4. Click "Scan Documents" 
5. Make sure your document is on a dark, hard surface (table or desk) and place it in view of the camera
6. Depending on the mode your camera is in, it may scan the document automatically. If not, click the shutter button
7. If you have more than one page, scan all documents
8. Then tap "Save" 
9. Click the drop down arrow to the right of the words "Scanned Documents" at the top of your screen 
10. Select "Share" and add the recipient
11. Your document will be sent as a PDF

Android/Google Photos Users: 

1. Open the Google Drive app 
2. In the bottom right, tap Add (plus sign)
3. Tap "Scan document" 
4. Make sure your document is on a dark, hard surface (table or desk) and place it in view of the camera
5. Depending on the mode your camera is in, it may scan the document automatically. If not, click the shutter button
6. Add a "Name" for this document and then tap "Save"
7. At the top of your screen you will see a box that says "Search in Drive"
8. Type in the name of your newly scanned document 
9. Open the document and click the 3 dots in the top right corner
10. Select "Share" from the menu and add your recipient
11. Click the blue arrow above the keyboard and it will be sent

If you have even TWO minutes today, practice scanning something... even just junk mail and send it to yourself just to see how quick and easy this really is! This is a great skill to have in your back pocket for when you really need it! 

Add April Faves to Your "Best of 2024" Album

Now is a great time to add your favorite pictures from April to your "Best of 2024" album! Taking just a few minutes to do this each month will help you keep your favorite photos organized, making them easy to find and share!

iPhone/Apple Users: 

1. Open the Apple Photos app from your phone 
2. Click "LIBRARY" at the bottom of your screen
3. Scroll up until you get to April 1st
4. Click "Select" in the top right corner
5. Select a FEW of your favorite photos from April
6. Click the upload button (square with an arrow pointing up) in the bottom left corner of your screen
7. Scroll down and click "Add to Album"
8. Find and select your "Best of 2024" album 

Android/Google Photos Users  

1. Open the Google Photos app from your phone 
2. Click "LIBRARY" at the bottom of your screen
3. Find and open your "Best of 2024" album 
4. Click "Add Photos" under the title 
5. Scroll up to April 1st
6. Select a FEW of your favorite pics from April 
7. Click "Add" in the top right corner of your screen
