How Many Pictures Did You Take in 2023?

I took over 6,000! But thanks to my "Best of 2023" Album I have my favorite 400 photos all in one place making them incredibly easy to find and share, saving me time and stress!  

If you've been on this picture organization journey with me all year, don't forget to add your favorites from December by following the directions below!

And if you didn't jump on board, make 2024 the year you FINALLY start organizing your digital pictures! 

Benefits of having a "Best of" album: 

• Enables you to organize and declutter your favorite pictures in small doses throughout the year as you add the best of the best to your album each month.
• Ensures your favorite pictures don't get lost in your photo stream, which is likely a mess of thousands of pictures!
• Prevents endless scrolling when looking for a specific picture, which can often be frustrating and unsuccessful.
• At the end of the year, you will have all your favorites in one place making it so much easier to create your holiday photo card, next year's calendar or just reflect on the year and create new goals!

HOW TO ADD YOUR FAVORITE DECEMBER PICTURES TO YOUR "BEST OF 2023" ALBUM: 

Apple Users 

1. Open Apple Photos App from your phone 
2. Click "LIBRARY" at the bottom of your screen
3. Scroll up until you get to December 1st
4. Click "Select" in the top right corner
5. Select a FEW of your favorite photos from December
6. Click the upload button (square with an arrow pointing up) in the bottom left corner of your screen
7. Scroll down and click "Add to Album"
8. Find and select your "Best of 2023" album 

 
Google Photos Users  

1. Open Google Photos App from your phone 
2. Click "LIBRARY" at the bottom of your screen
3. Find and open your "Best of 2023" album 
4. Click "Add Photos" under the title 
5. Scroll up to December 1st
6. Select a FEW of your favorite pics from December
7. Click "Add" in the top right corner of your screen 

CREATE YOUR "BEST OF 2024" ALBUM NOW!

Apple Users 

1. Open Apple Photos App from your phone 
2. Click "ALBUMS" at the bottom of your screen
3. Click the "+" sign in the top left corner
4. Select "New Album"
5. Give your album a title such as "Best of 2024" and click "SAVE"

 
Google Photos Users  

1. Open Google Photos App from your phone 
2. Click "LIBRARY" at the bottom of your screen
3. Click the "+" sign in the top left corner to create a new album
4. Give your album a title such as "Best of 2024" and click "DONE" in the bottom right corner

At the end of January, I will send a quick reminder to add your favorite pictures form the month with directions on how to do it in just a few clicks! 

Whether you're someone who makes New Year's resolutions or not, organizing your digital pictures in 2024 is a great goal because it only takes a few minutes each month!
